Olimpia Milano-Virtus Bologna, penalties after the two matches played at the Forum

The FIP sports judge has ordered a series of sanctions against the two Scudetto finalists, Olimpia Milano and Virtus Bologna, following what happened in game-1 and game-2, both played at the Mediolanum Forum in Assago and won in both cases by the Red Shoes. The disqualifications ordered for the meneghini’s court and for basketball players Biligha (Milan), Teodosic and Hackett (Bologna) were all turned into fines.

E.A.7 – EMPORIO ARMANI MILANO Disqualification of the field of play for one game because the home crowd came into contact with an opposing member of the public at the end of the game, on leaving the field of play. MILOS TEODOSIC (athlete SEGAFREDO ZANETTI). Disqualification for one game for blatant and violent behavior towards the host audience. Disqualification replaced by a fine of € 3,000.00 [art. 35,1c RG, art. 14,4 RG].

DANIEL LORENZO HACKETT (athlete SEGAFREDO ZANETTI BOLOGNA). Disqualification for one game for blatant and violent behavior towards the host public. Disqualification replaced by a fine of € 3,000.00 [art. 35,1c RG,art. 14,4 RG].

PAUL STEPHANE LIONEL BILIGHA (athlete E.A.7 – EMPORIO ARMANI MILANO). Disqualified member for 1 game substituted with a fine of Euro 3,000.00 because in the last minute of the game, during a situation of the beginning of a brawl, he left the bench area entering the field.
