Charles Leclerc resigned to the worst
Charles Leclerc’s words
Charles Leclerc spoke at a press conference in Montreal: “In Spain it was a difficult weekend especially for me. We don’t bring anything new here and I don’t foresee miracles. We have to figure out how to make the most of the new package, although I don’t think we will make a breakthrough. And no, there were no problems on my Ferrari. We expect Aston Martin in addition to Red Bull to be very strong here. We have to focus on our work.”
“Let’s be clear and transparent with each other, we are not happy but we have to keep pushing with regularity to try to reduce the gap and work on the race pace. What gives me confidence is that there is a clear direction and this leads me to believe in the project.”
Closing remark on Ferrari’s success at Le Mans: “I’ve been to see the 24 Hours. Incredible race and one day I would like to participate. It couldn’t have ended better with Ferrari winning. Very exciting. I was up until 4 a.m.”
