Napoli redeems Giovanni Simeone from Verona
Giovanni Simeone is officially a player owned by Napoli. The Neapolitan club announced on its website the redemption of the Argentine center forward from Hellas Verona.
The Cholito, son of Atletico Madrid coach Diego Pablo Pablo, has signed a contract until June 30, 2026 with a one-year extension option, until June 30, 2027, from the club.
Simeone, who will turn 28 on July 5, arrived in Italy in 2016, at Genoa from Banfield. After a year he moved to Fiorentina, in which he played two seasons, then in two other championships he played for Cagliari.
In August 2021 the move to Verona, then, at the end of an extraordinary season with 17 goals in Serie A, the landing at Napoli, with which he won the Scudetto.
