Big parade in Maranello for Ferrari triumph at Le Mans
On Tuesday, June 20, Ferrari will celebrate its victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans with a parade through the streets of Maranello. Indeed, as announced by the Prancing Horse, “Ferrari is preparing to celebrate its victory at the 24 Hours of Le Mans together with the mechanics, technicians and engineers who contributed to this historic achievement, employees and the local community.”
“The Ferrari – AF Corse drivers, returning from a centenary edition that saw the Prancing Horse return to the top of the podium after a 50-year absence from the famous endurance race, will meet with team members and colleagues and then parade through the streets of Maranello,” the statement continues. The celebration will kick off at the headquarters from the company, from where the winners of the fourth round of the Fia Wec 2023 with the 499P number 51 – Alessandro Pier Guidi, James Calado and Antonio Giovinazzi – and the teammates of the number 50 car – Antonio Fuoco, Miguel Molina, Nicklas Nielsen – will set off to cross the streets of the city.”
“In the afternoon,” the statement concludes, “a display of the Le Mans centenary trophy and the winning Hypercar will be set up for the employees, to whom Chairman John Elkann wished to dedicate the victory: a manifesto of Ferrari’s commitment to the world of endurance racing, its desire to take on ever more ambitious challenges and its determination to win. It will be a unique experience for Ferrari people and the territory to admire the two racing cars and celebrate together with the team a milestone that will remain in motorsport history.”
