Jannik Sinner, Paolo Bertolucci is puzzled and alarmed.

Former tennis player and TV commentator Paolo Bertolucci analyzed in amazement on Twitter Jannik Sinner’s bad performance at the Atp tournament in ‘s-Hertogenbosch. The Azzurro was defeated in the quarterfinals by Emil Ruusuvuori, an opponent he has always beaten in the past.

“What happened to Jannik? Slow, foul and confused, seems to have lost his bearings,” is Bertolucci’s tweet between puzzled and alarmed. Jannik Sinner disappointed at the Internazionali d’Italia and Roland Garros, where he stopped just short of the second round against Germany’s Altmaier.

It’s a wake-up call for Italy’s number one ahead of Wimbledon, the third Slam of the tennis season, scheduled to begin next late June.

The term ATP (Association of Tennis Professionals) refers to the association that brings together all male professional tennis players from all corners of the world. The ATP’s primary task is to protect the interests of the players and also to organize essential services, such as, for example, the drafting of the world ranking, called the ATP ranking, and the scheduling of tournaments.
