Luca Marini in a Mowmag interview confirmed that he has never really felt the pressure as a motorcycle racer to be the brother of an ace rider like Valentino Rossi: “I’ve been told this a lot of times but I’ve never felt it, I don’t even know if it existed for me.”

“Every rider has to come to terms and comparison with Valentino Rossi anyway, even Marc Marquez. Being his brother doesn’t change anything, there are disadvantageous sides but also very positive ones, I never felt too much of a problem in that respect. I have made my own way.”

The problem of social media: “Social media is a very strange thing. In the end, the haters that are on social if they meet you on the street they ask for your picture, your autograph. Or you can talk to them quietly. Even I many times want to vent, then afterwards, however, you can’t say anything, you can’t do anything at this time.”
