Zlatan Ibrahimovic, dedication to Mino Raiola: “We did it.”

After announcing his retirement from playing soccer following AC Milan’s last league match against Hellas Verona, Zlatan Ibrahimovic confirmed his decision with a post, published on his social profiles, in which he thanked all the clubs whose jerseys he wore and his procurer, but especially great friend Mino Raiola, who passed away in the spring of 2022.

“It all started as a dream. a dream that made the impossible possible,” Ibra began, “I was born in Malmö. Grew up in Amsterdam. Became wiser in Turin. Became a lion in Barcelona. I grew up in Milan and found new perspectives in Paris. I became more resilient in Manchester and had fun in Los Angeles. And so, finally, I found my peace in my new home, in Milan.”

“You have created me,” he added, addressing the fans. “And the legacy I hope to leave behind is represented by all the Zlatans created by me. All those who have the heart of a lion. All those who have flames in their eyes. All those who truly understand that the impossible does not exist. Thank you for everything.”

“Mino, we did it! The race is over. It’s been a fantastic journey. I miss you,” is finally the dedication addressed to the Dutch-Italian prosecutor.

Ibrahimovic, at the end of his message, then mentioned all the clubs he played for: Malmö, Ajax, Juventus, Inter Milan, Barcelona, Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United, LA Galaxy, and, for a second and final time, Milan.
