Halle: Jannik Sinner will also play doubles
Jannik Sinner chose to start again in Halle after a disappointing loss to Emil Ruusuvuori in the quarterfinals of the ATP 250 in ‘s-Hertogenbosch.
The South Tyrolean tennis player will not only participate in the singles tournament, but has decided to play the doubles tournament as well, paired with his Polish friend Hubert Hurcacz, world number 14. The two will debut against the fearsome Germans Jan-Lennard Struff and Oscar Otte.
Jannik is not the only big guy who has decided to try his hand at doubles as well. In fact, participants also include Alexander Zverev and Andrey Rublev, who will play together and will face the American duo of Nathaniel Lammons and Jackson Withrow.
