Moto3 German GP: victory at the last corner for Deniz Oncu
First career victory in his fifth season in Moto3 for Deniz Oncu in the German Grand Prix at the Sachsenring circuit.
The Turkish rider of the Red Bull KTM Ajo triumphed by overtaking the Japanese Liqui Moly Husqvarna Intact GP Ayumu Sasaki, who had started from the pole position and with whom he had made the gap by detaching all the others.
A dozen seconds behind another pair, consisting of Red Bull KTM Tech 3 Spaniard Daniel Holgado, third, and the other Spaniard Iván Ortolá on an Angeluss MTA Team KTM. In the world championship standings Holgado remains clearly in the lead with 41 points over another Spaniard, Jaume Masiá of Honda Leopard Racing, who was sixth today.
