MotoGp, Honda tries to appease Marc Marquez
Honda president Watanabe on Marc Marquez: “We don’t fear losing him.”
Honda Racing president Koji Watanabe at the microphones of Marca tried to throw water on the fire on the Marc Marquez case, who after falling several times over the weekend in Germany on Sunday did not even participate in the Grand Prix due to a fractured finger: “We have discovered the problem with the bike, but we don’t know yet how long it will take to solve it properly. We hope that by the end of the season we can catch up with our rivals.”
Marc Marquez is showing signs of impatience and according to rumors he may leave, “He is still part of our family, we respect his opinion and we will respect his decision. We want to keep him, but there is no rush and we always talk. Good communication is important for the Honda family.”
Marquez, who between injuries and crashes has yet to finish a Sunday race this season, has racked up just 15 points after the first seven MotoGp rounds of the year.
