Dutch GP, Fabio Quartararo the fastest in warm-up
Yamaha’s Frenchman Fabio Quartararo, a rainbow winner in 2021, despite having a broken toe was the fastest in the warm-up of the MotoGP-class Dutch Grand Prix.
At the Assen circuit, the Diablo was 133 thousandths ahead of LCR Honda IDEMITSU’s Japanese rider Takaaki Nakagami and 149 ahead of reigning world champion and world championship leader Pecco Bagnaia on the factory Ducati.
Fourth time for the Aprilia of Spaniard Maverick Vinaales, fifth Marco Bezzecchi, so far the ruler of the weekend with the Ducati Mooney VR46 Racing Team and big favorite of today’s race. Better than usual also the second official Yamaha, that of Franco Morbidelli, seventh.
