Vicario, Inter Milan fades: official to Tottenham. The figures

The Premier League secures another Serie A player: Tottenham has made official the arrival from Empoli of Azzurri goalkeeper Guglielmo Vicario.

The goalkeeper has already undergone medical examinations and signed a contract with Spurs, who in a note made it known that they purchased him outright for a sum close to 20 million euros.

Vicario, born in 1996, signed a contract until 2028 and will wear the number 13 jersey. A Udinese school, in his career he has defended the posts of Fontanafredda, Venezia, Perugia, and Cagliari. Since 2021 he was at Empoli. The goalkeeper had also been approached by Inter Milan, looking for replacements after the likely goodbyes of Handanovic and Onana.
