Euroleague, a former Olimpia and Virtus man in Maccabi Tel Aviv’s sights

Maccabi Tel Aviv interested in Zach LeDay and Jordan Mickey

Maccabi Tel Aviv is interested in former Olimpia Milano’s Zach LeDay and Jordan Mickey, who just finished the season with Virtus Bologna, to strengthen its roster at strong wing level ahead of next season.

Reporting the news is the Israeli portal ‘Israel Hayom,’ according to which LeDay, currently at Partizan, would be the management’s first choice, while Mickey’s name is among the ‘B plans’ on a par with Baskonia’s Matt Costello and Petr Cornelie, seen last year wearing the Real Madrid jersey, then winner of the continent’s top tournament.

On the other hand, the track leading to Brazilian Bruno Caboclo, back from a very good second half of the season in the Bundesliga with Ratiopharm Ulm, has been abandoned: the Maccabi management will continue to keep him in consideration, preferring, however, players who have already gained experience in the Euroleague.
