Official: Marco Sportiello is with AC Milan

Marco Sportiello is a new player of AC Milan. It was made official by the Rossoneri club itself through a statement released on its official website.

“AC Milan is pleased to announce the signing of footballer Marco Sportiello from July 1, 2023. The Italian goalkeeper has signed a contract with the rossonero club until June 30, 2027,” reads the note issued by the meneghina scoiety.

“Sportiello, who was born in Desio on May 10, 1992, grew up in Atalanta’s Youth Sector before taking his first steps in professional soccer with Seregno (2010/11 season), Poggibonsi (2011/12) and Carpi (2012/13) and returning to Atalanta with whom he collected 88 appearances between 2013 and 2017. From January 2017 to June 2018 he wore Fiorentina’s jersey on 39 occasions and in 2018/19 for 36 times that of Frosinone, before returning again to defend Atalanta’s goal, for a total of 136 appearances with the orobici.”

“Marco Sportiello will wear the number 57 jersey.”
