Carlos Sainz goes for confirmation in Austria: “Good boost for the team in Canada, where we had a good pace and made up positions. The perception we had in the race was different and this was a good boost of confidence. The tire degradation control? The circuit allowed it, but so did the car. Now we will have to do everything to have the same trend. What’s new? Everyone in Maranello has worked hard and I thank them. We will do our best to make them work.”
Chapter impeding: “Split Q1 with 10 cars, one per team. Then things improve in the other sessions. Single lap? It’s an idea, it would be something to try, maybe on Sprint Race weekends.”
