Jessica Rossi wins Olympic pass for Paris 2024
Italian skeet shooting conquers its fifth Olympic pass for Paris 2024 at the European Games: Jessica Rossi, on the competition field in Wroclaw, Poland, wins gold in the trap assuring the Italian colors the second and last nation place available after that obtained by Silvana Stanco with her success at the European Championships in Larnaca last August.
For Rossi, 28 skeets hit out of 35 in the gold medal match, better than Finland’s Satu Silja Paivikki Makela-Nummela (silver with 26/35) and Slovakia’s Jana Spotakova (17/25), the bronze medalist.
For Italy this is the second Olympic shooting card in the Polish kermesse after the one obtained by Martina Bartolomei in skeet.
