F1, Sprint Shootout Austrian GP: Verstappen on pole, Ferrari on third row
After taking pole position in Friday’s qualifying session, Max Verstappen confirmed himself in the Sprint Shootout, setting the best time of 1’04″440, which allows the Dutch driver to start ahead of everyone in the Sprint Race, scheduled for 4:30 p.m. as well.
Also on the front row is the other Red Bull of Sergio Perez, then the McLaren of Lando Norris and the Haas of Nico Hulkenberg. Only the third row for Ferrari, with Carlos Sainz fifth and Charles Leclerc sixth.
