Roberto D’Aversa, first words as Lecce coach
Lecce presented on Tuesday its new coach Roberto D’Aversa, who arrives on the Giallorossi bench after the farewell of Marco Baroni. The coach (who boasts experience as a player in Salento, at Gallipoli in 2009/10) answered reporters’ questions, without dodging much more than the inevitable one about the Giallorossi market.
“If I am afraid that someone may leave? It is known that offers can arrive,” said the former coach of Virtus Lanciano, Parma and Sampdoria, “if there is a chance to capitalize it is right for the club to intervene in this sense.
“Here in Lecce there is a master in looking for alternatives,” D’Aversa added, referring to the head of the club’s technical area, Pantaleo Corvino. “We have very clear ideas about what our market strategies are.
