Psg-Mbappé at loggerheads: harsh response and ultimatum from club to champion
Paris Saint-Germain has no intention of losing Kylian Mbappé for free next season, and in a letter sent to the player urged him to make a decision on contract renewal, sending a veritable ultimatum.
L’Equipe reported the indiscretion: the French champion club allegedly sent a three-page letter to its brightest star, in which it accused him of lacking sincerity. Psg reportedly put the player in front of a choice to be made by July 31: either renew his contract, or end up on the market
The farewell seems closer and closer, and even the words of President Al-Khelaifi on the sidelines of an event Thursday in Paris seem to confirm it: “We don’t want the club to be hostage to his decision. We want him to stay but we cannot lose the best player in the world for free. It would not be like him, who is a great guy: doing so would weaken us.”
