Ju-Vi Ferraroni Cremona announced that it has reached an agreement with Daniele Magro, who will wear the oroamaranto jersey in the upcoming 2023-2024 sports season with a one-year option on the following 2024-2025 season.

Born in Padua on April 14, 1987, a 208 cm by 112 kg center, Daniele Magro is a product of Benetton Treviso’s youth sector. He gradually established himself in the top league with Reyer Venezia, also earning a call-up to the national team and participation in EuroBasket 2013. In the 2014-15 season, he plays for the first time in Pistoia and then settles in Olimpia Milano, where he puts on the championship and Italian Cup. This was followed by a second adventure, fraught with satisfaction, at PalaCarrara (from 2016 to 2018), as well as a two-year island adventure in Sassari, where he won the Fiba Europe Cup and Italian Supercup. After a stint at Eurobasket Roma, Magro returned to Pistoia for the third time, reaching the playoff semifinals and lifting the A2 Supercup to the sky. Last season in Tuscany he put up statistics, averaging 7.2 points and 6.1 rebounds per contest.

“Ju-Vi Ferraroni was the club that strongly wanted me, I think both because of my results in the league in recent years and because of the experience accumulated throughout my career,” Magro said. I am happy to wear the colors of Ju-Vi and I will put my basketball knowledge at their disposal; we will be a rather young team, which will need to grow, and I am very happy to be part of it and give my contribution. I am also very happy to work with Coach Bechi, a good and highly respected coach, whom I have always heard good things about because of how he knows how to manage his teams and the results he has achieved on the court.”
