Through a note, Virtus Segafredo Bologna S.p.A. announced that it has reached an agreement for the contract extension of Marco Belinelli until 2025.

“It was what I wanted, happy to continue to bring up in Virtus Segafredo Bologna colors. We still have a lot of work to do together,” the virtussino captain’s comment on the announcement of his renewal.

Scudetto, EuroCup and two Super Cups the goals achieved by the captain with the black V’s jersey so far: in the season just ended he was one of the main protagonists of the bianconera team, finishing with 13 points average in the league and winning the award of Best Italian in the league and Best Sixth Man. During the Finale Scudetto “Beli” became the first in a Virtus jersey for triples made in the playoffs and the second most prolific three-point shooter in the history of the Finals, after surpassing 2000 points scored in a Virtus jersey in the Semifinal with Tortona. Also against the Piedmont team, the HCL captain recorded a season-best performance with 32 points scored.
