Wimbledon, Jannik Sinner makes a comeback and qualifies for the round of 16

Jannik Sinner qualified for the round of 16 at Wimbledon, bowing out French world number 79 Quentin Halys with a few more fears than expected.

The Italian won in four sets with a score of 3-6, 6-2, 6-3, 6-4 and will face the winner of the match between Colombia’s Galan and Sweden’s Ymer in the round of 16.

False start for the athlete from San Candido, who suffered as never before in the first set against Halys, perhaps due to completely different court conditions after the first two matches played with the roof.

But from the second partial the music changed, Sinner raised the level of his play and serve, winning the second and third sets 6-2 and 6-3. Highs and lows for the Blue, who came back to suffer a bit in the fourth partial, however concluded in a winning way: his Wimbledon continues.
