Lucas Hernandez from Bayern Munich to PSG
Lucas Hernandez has signed for Paris Saint Germain. The French defender, the 2018 world champion with the Bleus, comes from Bayern Munich and 40 million went to the Bavarian club. The announcement was made by the Parisian club itself. “I am very happy – the first words of the defender, who signed an agreement until 2028 – I had been waiting for a long time to arrive at PSG, finally it has happened.”
The transalpine footballer is back from a ruptured anterior cruciate ligament in his right knee suffered in the ninth minute of the French team’s first game at the 2022 World Cup in Qatar against Australia. Since the operation, he has yet to return to play a match. Previously, the 27-year-old native of Marseille and of distant but clear Spanish ancestry made his Big Football debut for Atletico Madrid, with whom he played until 2019, then for four seasons at Bayern.
With the Bavarians he won four Bundesliga, one Cup and three German Super Cups, one Champions League, one European Super Cup and one World Club Championship, while with the Colchoneros he won one Europa League and one European Super Cup. Finally, with the transalpine national team, in addition to the World Cup title, he won a Nations League.
