Sergio Rico discharged from hospital

Finally some good news for a soccer world that in recent hours has been rocked first by the hospitalization of Edwin Van der Sar for brain hemorrhage in a hospital in Croatia and then by the death of Luis Suarez.

Paris Saint-Germain’s Spanish goalkeeper Sergio Rico was discharged from the hospital where he had been admitted after a fall from a horse in Andalusia almost a month and a half ago, ending up in a medically induced coma. But he has slowly recovered and will now be able to return to his home where he will continue the rehabilitation process while waiting to see how his career will continue.

Meanwhile, according to reports from TheAthletic, a news also taken up by itasportpress.it, Sergio Rico has lost more than 20 kilos and 30 percent of his muscle mass, but he is lucky to still be alive, even from a neurological point of view, given the extent of the accident and the kicks suffered in the head by the horse in the moments of the fall.
