Luis Suarez, Massimo Moratti’s grief

Massimo Moratti, speaking to ‘Sky Sport,’ expressed all his sorrow for the passing at 88 of Luis Suarez, the director of the Great Inter team that won everything in the 1960s.

“I mourn the passing of a friend,” said the former Nerazzurri patron. “I was a boy but I still remember the moment he arrived at Inter from Barcelona, he allowed us to make the leap in quality. He was very important in the championship and cup wins. He was a complete footballer, he had uncommon gifts, a technique out of the ordinary.”

“Humanly he was also exceptional, when I became president Luisito was manager and coach of inter, in short he played all possible roles. To the younger ones I want him to remain the memory of a good person, who did the good of Inter.”
