The third Nerazzurri adventure is increasingly viable.

Romelu Lukaku and Chelsea close to calling it quits for good, with Inter wanting to take advantage. The Blues will start their pre-season training camp on Wednesday and, according to reports from ‘Sky Sport,’ the Belgian will not be there. In agreement with the London club, in fact, the center forward would have decided not to take part in the gathering. Therefore, his departure is now a foregone conclusion, with the Nerazzurri still in pole position.

Lukaku and Chelsea, according to information held by ‘Sky Sport,’ will work together to seek a solution that will please everyone. The goal is to do so by next Monday (the day of departure for the tour of America), with Inter aware of this first stage and intent on formulating a new offer in time.

Indeed, it is no secret that less than a week ago Inter offered 30 million to bring Romelu Lukaku back to Milan, this time on a permanent basis. The British media explained, however, that the Blues in fact want 45 million: already sparks then between the two clubs, even with negotiations in fact not yet begun. It should be recalled that Lukaku was sensationally sold by Inter Milan to Chelsea for 115 million in the summer of 2021, but at the end of June last year the equally sensational return to the Nerazzurri side of the Navigli on an interest-only loan.

In all this, the one who risks finding himself with the match in his hand is Juventus, on the one hand on the trail of the Belgian and on the other in negotiations with Chelsea for the transfer of Federico Chiesa. The ‘no’ of Lukaku, who in the event that he returns to play in Italy would do so exclusively with the Inter shirt, has not suspended but has complicated the operation. Indeed, the English hoped to find a quid pro quo that could lower the price of the former violet player.
