Simone Inzaghi presents the 2023-24 season

A few days after training resumed, Inter coach Simone Inzaghi spoke to present the upcoming season. In addition, among the various topics discussed, the former Lazio coach also dwelt on both the incoming and outgoing market.

“Last year we had an intense and exciting year. During last season we went through some difficult moments, but we reacted great. “On the market, I am aligned with the club. Between us there is total harmony. With the ownership we have decided to rejuvenate the team and we have lost very important players like Brozovic and Handanovic, but others will arrive who must do well. We are working hard and we are doing it in the best way. We all know the qualities of Frattesi and Thuram, the same goes for Bisseck, who just finished the Under-21 European Championship. We know what Lukaku represents for Inter and we will do everything we can to bring him back as we did last year,” added the former Lazio striker.

“In this season it will be crucial to start well, I think about last year when we did not start in the best way. I look at the calendar up to a certain point, because in last season’s championship the last two months were supposed to be the toughest and instead we almost made a full haul except for the defeat with Napoli,” concluded Simone Inzaghi.
