Ducati, Zarco’s future increasingly in doubt

Future all to be deciphered for Johann Zarco, who despite a good first part of the MotoGp World Championship has not yet been reconfirmed at Ducati Pramac for next season. The French centaur has hit four podiums and is fifth overall, but he is one of the riders at the center of market rumors for 2024.

These are the words of his agent Guillaume Valladeau to GP-Inside: “He is doing well, all the lights are green. Our goal is to stay in Ducati, that’s for sure. I think Gino Borsoi is very happy with Johann, as are Paolo Campinoti and Paolo Ciabatti. Johann is working hard and we are doing everything to stay where we are.”

Confirmation, however, is yet to come: “Everything he put in place before the start of the season is starting to pay off. I hope to get feedback from Ducati in the first half of July to know where we stand.”

Zarco according to rumors could also move to Honda, and the agent admits interest from other teams: “There are other teams that are interested in Johann and are sensitive to his results. He had a very good start to the season and obviously deserves the attention of other teams.”
