The Azzurrini beat Spain 3-2

At the end of an epic match, Italy U19 overcame Spain (3-2 the final) to win the final at the European Championships. They will now play for the title against Portugal, which bent the Azzurrini with a heavy 5-1 win in the second match of the European Championship. However, since that group stage match, the Azzurrini group led by coach Bollini has made many steps forward, confirming that they have what it takes to go all the way. The victory against highly-rated Spain was a confirmation that Italy U19 has a lot of quality and a big heart. Recovered by the Spaniards twice, Italy never stopped believing in victory, finding the goal of the final 3-2 with Lipani in the final minutes of the match.

Great satisfaction in the words of Bollini, U19 coach: “The boys were fantastic. We played against a team that for technique and individual values is among the first in the world, so far it had never lost cashing only 2 goals and this means that it has always been able to impose its game. We managed to get the better of them with heart and good play. We managed to climb the mountain and on Sunday, against Portugal we will try to conquer the top,” his words reported by La Gazzetta dello Sport.

The final of the European Under-19 Championship is scheduled for Sunday at 9 p.m. at Ta’ Qali Stadium in Malta. After so many lost finals, Italian soccer hopes that the Azzurrini under the employ of coach Bollini will be able to bring joy to the Italian fans in this decidedly unlucky year (at least in terms of finals).
