Tjas Begic is a new Parma player

Parma has made official an important incoming blow to increase the technical content of Fabio Pecchia’s squad. In the last few hours, the Ducal club has finalized the outright purchase of Tjas Begic, a 2003-born left winger from Vicenza. The Slovenian outfielder, after a positive season in Serie C, is expected to make the leap in category to Serie B.

“Parma Calcio announces that it has acquired the sports performance of Tjas Begic The 20-year-old offensive midfielder has signed a four-year contract from L.R.Vicenza 1902. Slovenian, on the roster of the National Under-21 team, Tjaš collected 32 appearances in the last season in Serie C (between regular season and playoffs), scoring 3 goals in the league and 3 assists in the Italian Cup. Our club is pleased to welcome Tjas for this new adventure together!” this was the note issued by the club on its official profiles.

After the purchase of Begic, Parma’s priority remains the acquisition of a striker. In fact, the Emilian management would be following several profiles both in Italy and abroad. Among the hottest names would be Antonio Colak of Glasgow Rangers, author of 18 goals in 39 games between league and cup and Christian Gytkjær, who, accomplice to the thick competition, could decide to leave Monza to find more minutes elsewhere.

Another goal of the Crusaders is to build a balanced roster between prospective and experienced players as pointed out by Fabio Pecchia himself in a press conference: “It is right to find a correct balance between young and experienced players: to build a team with youngsters who can grow next to experienced players. Partipilo proves this: he is certainly not a very young player, his arrival is proof that we are trying to set up a team with a balance between youth and people with B experience.”
