Milan-Reijnders: this is it

AC Milan strikes its second midfield market blow. After the arrival of Ruben Loftus-Cheek from Chelsea, in fact, the Rossoneri have reached an agreement with AZ Alkmaar for the transfer of Tijjani Reijnders, a Dutch midfielder born in 1998.

According to reports from Sky Sport, the Rossoneri have reached an agreement with the Dutch club, having raised their offer to 19 million euros, plus 4 million in bonuses. Early next week the player will undergo medical examinations and sign a contract worth about 1.6 million a season, plus a signing bonus.

Reijnders, who has long expressed his desire to wear the Rossoneri colors, has been given the green light by his home club not to participate in today’s friendly against Lech Poznan, proving that there is very little time left for him to become a new Milan player.

Reijnders finished last season in an AZ jersey with 7 goals and 12 assists in 54 total appearances, reaching the Conference League semifinals where the Dutch were eliminated by West Ham, then Fiorentina’s executioners in the final.

From next July 1, it will be possible to deposit the contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
