Monza, Alessio Cragno moves to Sassuolo
Alessio Cragno is from Sassuolo
Alessio Cragno leaves Monza, but remains in Serie A. The Azzurri goalkeeper, in fact, moves on loan with right of redemption to Sassuolo.
“AC Monza announces that Alessio Cragno transfers to Sassuolo on a temporary basis until June 30, 2024, with an option for definitive acquisition,” reads the official statement released by the Brianza club.
“Best of luck to Alessio!”
In his last Serie A season, Cragno was shut down by Michele Di Gregorio, playing only one game with the biancorossi jersey, in the heavy defeat in Salerno (3-0). In Cagliari, on the other hand, he collected 35 appearances in the 21-22 season, establishing himself as one of the best goalkeepers in the league. The Italian goalkeeper will try to redeem himself at Sassuolo, where he will surely find more space. Contending for his place will be Andrea Consigli, the Neroverdi’s starting goalkeeper.
From next July 1, it will be possible to deposit the contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
