Pesaro, Maurizio Buscaglia happy with reinforcement in the outfield department
Trevor Bluiett is Pesaro’s new backup
Carpegna Prosciutto Pesaro made official on Tuesday the arrival to the red and white team of Trevor Bluiett, a 196 cm by 90 kg guard, seen last season wearing the jersey of Dabrowa Gornicza, a Polish league club.
A class of 1994 wing, Bluiett’s professional career began in 2018, Xavier’s senior year out of college, in the colors of the Westchester Knicks before moving to the Salt Lake City Stars, a formation with which he remained until the summer of 2021 when he took part in the NBA Summer League along with the Cleveland Cavaliers. In September of the same year he moves to Turkey: with Besiktas he also plays in the FIBA Champions League. In February 2022 a new European experience awaits him, this time in Germany with Hamburg Towers. The Indianapolis forward played his last season in Poland, in the ranks of Dabrowa Gornicza: in 2022/2023 he traveled at an average of 16 points, 5 rebounds and 37% from three with eight shots per match.
Maurizio Buscaglia commented, to the club’s official channels, on the signing of the American: “Trevon’s arrival completes our outside department with a player functional to the others. He has shooting, he can open the court, but he also possesses ball handling that can help us both in construction and finalization. I like the fact that he can also give us the low post, something we also look for from perimeter players. He has already gained European experience and we are happy he wanted us with determination to continue in his path.”
