Pisa turns to Tommaso Barbieri
Pisa has set its sights on Tommaso Barbieri, a Juventus Next Gen fullback born in 2002. The Nerazzurri club is unable to close for Porto player Tomas Esteves, and has decided to tack on the Juventus player.
Also on the Juventus defender is another Serie C club, Cremonese, ready to step up for the player. Raised in Novara, Barbieri was with Juventus Nex Gen for three years, playing 69 games in total between league and cups. Last season he made his Serie A debut for the first team, playing three games in the top league.

“In training camp I will have the opportunity to talk to all 37 elements that make up the group,” were Aquilani’s words during the presentation. Numerically we are many and so I will have to deal with everyone to understand who is willing to take part in the new technical path. I need strongly motivated players, dropped into the project, convinced to work together to achieve the goals. I know very well that the last tournament ended amidst the protests of the square, but as far as I am concerned it is water under the bridge. We start from scratch, with evaluations that I will have to make together with my collaborators and in consultation with the company.”
