Roma, hot track in France for midfield
Roma, eyes on PSG’s Renato Sanches
After finalizing the arrivals of Kristensen and Llorente, Roma is already hard at work to further strengthen the squad at Jose Mourinho’s disposal. One of the goals for the Giallorossi would be a purchase in midfield. With Davide Frattesi gone, the capital club would have put in its sights the profile of Marcel Sabitzer, but in the last hours, given the difficulties in getting to the Austrian player, a new track would have taken shape.
According to reports from “Sky Sport,” Ds Tiago Pinto has initiated contacts with PSG for Renato Sanches, who after a season below expectations could decide to leave Paris to try to relaunch himself. The Giallorossi would already be working to find an agreement with the Parisian club on the basis of a loan with right of redemption. However, the main obstacle would be the high salary received by the Portuguese midfielder.
Should the player decide to reduce his salary and the Parisians open to a loan, the negotiations could take off quickly.
In addition to the midfield, another Roma target in this soccer session is a reinforcement in attack, complicit in Tammy Abraham’s serious injury. Among the hottest names would be those of Atletico Madrid’s Alvaro Morata, West Ham’s Gianluca Scamacca and Porto’s Mehdi Taremi.
Starting next July 1, it will be possible to deposit contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season
