Turin, Tameze one step away

Torino is on the verge of placing its first strike in midfield. As reported by Sky Sport, in fact, the granata have reached an agreement with Hellas Verona for the transfer of Adrien Tameze, a Cameroonian midfielder born in ’94.

Only a few details remain to be ironed out in the negotiation, but the signing and medical examinations are expected as early as today. Tameze will sign a three-year contract worth €1 million per season, while Torino will pay about €2.5 million into the Verona club’s coffers.

An important reinforcement for coach Juric, who had already expressed his liking for the Cameroonian midfielder, having already coached him in his adventure in the Gialloblù, and now he will be able to count on an excellent alternative to the midfield dam formed by Ricci and Ilic.

With the Verona jersey, Tameze made 114 appearances, tallying 5 goals and 2 assists.

From next July 1, it will be possible to deposit the contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
