Market, four top coaches waiting for a call

Everyone is looking for a project that will convince them, for they have not found it

There are some top coaches who, at the moment, are still without a bench. The list is quite demanding and absolutely prestigious. Among the top names are those of Spalletti, fresh Scudetto winner with Napoli, Conte, Zidane and Nagelsmann.

The former, in fact, has decided to take some time off to “relax and enjoy what he did in Naples.” However, he has already made it known that he has never talked about a sabbatical and, in January, he may be back on track. Clearly, someone like Spalletti would appeal to many.

The situation of the other three is different. Conte, after prematurely ending his contract with Tottenham, expected more options to choose from (there has been talk of his return to Italy, to Inter Milan) but, at the moment, he is still on stand-by. Same for Zidane, who, after thrilling with the three Champions Leagues he won with Real Madrid, has not coached since (he has been out of action since the summer of 2021). Problems for Nagelsmann as well. After his resounding exoneration by Bayern Munich, he was close to several clubs (PSG and Chelsea in particular) but no deal came. Four coaches waiting for a call. Who knows if, when and where they will return to the game. The desire to return is there, from all of them, however, under certain conditions.
