Venice has announced the arrival of Alex O’Connell
Umana Reyer Venezia in a statement announced the agreement with Alex O’Connell, a 198-centimeter wing from the Stockton Kings, the G League team from Sacramento.
“O’Connell is a player with a high athleticism and system who likes to run the court, as well as having an excellent 3-point shot. He was born June 2, 1999 in Baltimore, Maryland (USA), and began his basketball growth at Milton High School in Georgia,” is the note from Venice.
“In college he studies at the prestigious Duke University wearing the colors of the Blue Devils from 2017 to 2020. The next two years he transferred to Creighton University where he played for the Bluejays where in his final season he put up 12 points and over 5 rebounds per game. In the summer of 2022 he plays Summer League with the Sacramento Kings with whom he signs his first professional contract.”
“In the 2022/23 season he wears the jersey of the Sacramento G League team where he is coached by former orogranata Deividas Dulkys (on the Kings staff) playing 32 games with 9 points, 5 rebounds and 2 assists average.”
