Dad Fabrizio stood on the Olympic triple podium, bronze in London in 2012, won medal after medal, but sensations like today’s he had never experienced: “This is the most exciting title in the family.” The first tricolor of her career for Greta Donato with 13.13 (+2.0) in the triple jump and a super progress of 65 centimeters, on the last day of the Italian Junior Championships in Grosseto. The surname speaks for itself: she is the daughter of the great blue champion and former Italian 400-meter record holder Patrizia Spuri. Still eighteen years old, she has been dedicated to the specialty for only a few months after starting with the long and is growing in the Fiamme Gialle group followed by her father at Castelporziano along with among others the new Italian record holder Andy Diaz, who in turn was present in the stands to celebrate her.

Discus player Sofia Coppari (Atl. Fabriano) grows with 51.11 in her first throw. In the 400 meters Matteo Di Benedetto (Team-A Lombardia, 47.34) dominates and Nancy Demattè repeats herself (54.76) who then leads the Us Quercia Rovereto’s 4×400 with Sofia Trettel, Giulia Tonolli and Samira Manai in 3:48.60 to the title.
