Atp Race: Rublev wins and overtakes Jannik Sinner

Andrey Rublev won the Atp 250 in Bastad (Sweden, clay), overcoming Norway’s Casper Ruud in two sets in the final with scores of 7-6, 6-0.

The Russian tennis player, world number seven, shook up the Atp Race rankings, moving up to fourth place ahead of Stefanos Tsitsipas and our own Jannik Sinner.

This is the new ranking ahead of the Atp Finals in Turin (top 10): Carlos Alcaraz 6675 (already qualified), Novak DjokoviÄ 5945, Daniil Medvedev 5120, Andrey Rublev 3215, Stefanos Tsitsipas 3175, Jannik Sinner 3175, Holger Rune 3025, Casper Ruud 2400, Taylor Fritz 2085, Karen Khachanov 1900.

Sinner will return to the court at the Toronto tournament, scheduled for early August. Also on his schedule is Cincinnati and then the Us Open at the end of the month.
