Superbike for Emilia-Romagna

The special auction organized by the MOTUL FIM Superbike World Championship in collaboration with CharityStars, the leading international auction platform, ended Saturday with a total of 17,418 euros raised in support of the people affected in May by the flooding in Emilia-Romagna.

Among the items that found great interest from fans were the helmet autographed by 2021 World Champion Toprak Razgatlioglu, which went to auction for 5225 euros. Many stars of the Championship also autographed the X-Lite SBK® helmet, which helped raise as much as 4,000 euros for charity, while a VIP Experience package went for 1,800 euros.

725 euros was the sum raised for a style autographed by Danilo Petrucci, as well as 560 euros for Alvaro Bautista’s gloves as a further demonstration of how close the WorldSBK community is to those in need.

This auction, which was successfully concluded shortly after the end of the second Round of the season staged in Emilia-Romagna (the Prometeon Round of Italy), was made possible thanks to the great support and generosity of WorldSBK teams and riders, as well as, of course, the wide participation of fans. All funds raised will be donated to the Emilia-Romagna Regional Civil Protection Agency in support of the people affected by the flooding.
