Christian Fassnacht is bidding farewell to the Swiss top flight to try his hand in England. The 29-year-old ended his stint with Young Boys and signed a two-year deal, plus option for one more season, with Championship club Norwich City.
The right winger, who has made 19 appearances for the Swiss national team, has won five championships and the Swiss Cup twice with the Yellowoniers.
At Norwich Fassnacht will reunite with David Wagner, former coach of the Bernese in the 2021-22 season: the yellow-greens’ goal is to return to the Premier League, from which they were relegated in the 2021-22 season.
