F1, Toto Wolff announces something new for Spa
Toto Wolff’s words
Mercedes team principal Toto Wolff has announced something new ahead of the Belgian Grand Prix, scheduled to be held at Spa on Sunday, July 30, where the third Sprint of the season will be staged.
“We will be bringing updates this weekend as part of our development program,” the British team boss revealed. “We hope this will be another small step forward in the improvement of the W14. As we have already seen in many races this year, it is difficult to predict where we will be compared to our competitors. In any case, we want to maximize the result of this last race before the summer closing stop.”
He then returned to the last race held in Hungary: “In Sunday’s race we were too cautious in some decisions and in the end we lost the podium. George had problems in qualifying, but he led a great comeback race. We also experienced problems in cooling on both cars. We probably had the second best car, but we need to improve the execution if we want to express our full potential.”
