Federica Pellegrini makes an announcement on Instagram
The words of Federica Pellegrini
Federica Pellegrini posted a video on Instagram that immediately went viral.
In fact, the former swimmer, right after Australian Molly O’Callaghan obliterated her historic record in the 200 freestyle at the Fukuoka World Championships, commented, “Crazy race. One of the best I’ve seen in the last 14 years. But I want to say something.”
And that point the Venetian beauty lifted her blouse and showed her belly with the words, “We’ll take it back.” This was followed by a kiss to her husband Matteo Giunta.
“The whole thing seems intolerable and absurd to me, because it always starts from a physical assumption that I do not tolerate”: in an interview granted to ‘Repubblica’ Federica Pellegrini had thus commented only a few hours earlier on the indiscretions that had been circulating for days.
The ‘Divine’ had also dwelt on the world swimming championships being held in Fukuoka, Japan: “Ceccon was worth the gold medal but you can lose by five hundredths. Quadarella is back on her times, Martinenghi had a great race.”
Federica Pellegrini was born in Mirano, Veneto, on Aug. 5, 1988, and is considered the greatest Italian swimmer in history as well as one of the longest-serving in her field.
