Juventus, Arkadiusz Milik gets out of line on Scudetto
The Pole has always been convinced that he can stay in Juventus
The start of the new season is still about three weeks away. Milik is looking forward to doing well with Juventus, the only team he wanted to play for: “I had already chosen Juve a summer ago and I got on very well…. We have all the potential to score more points than last year and to win at this club that has always aimed to lift trophies. This is also my ambition and I want to achieve it here. I didn’t want to go anywhere else,” his words to Gazzetta dello Sport.
The Pole also talks about the market, with the possible farewell of Vlahovic, who has been approached by many top clubs: “We don’t know what will happen, everything is possible, I heard Giuntoli’s words, if an irrenounceable offer arrives everyone can leave, so let’s see. I hope that in the end Dusan can stay, for the rest for me nothing changes. If we want to be competitive we need more strong players in every role, competition is needed if we aim to win,” continued the Juventus striker who, last year, despite a few too many injuries, finished with nine goals in 39 games.
Finally, a joke about the upcoming Scudetto sprint with Napoli as the reigning Italian champions and, therefore, the team to beat: “In addition to Napoli, I would put the two Milanese, along with Roma and Lazio, but also Juve,” concludes the Polish center forward.
