Wladimiro Falcone returns to Lecce

Wladimiro Falcone is returning to Lecce. And this time on a permanent basis. In fact, as reported by Sky Sport, the Giallorossi club has reached an agreement with Sampdoria for the transfer of the Italian goalkeeper.

Falcone will sign a five-year contract with the Salentini, who have paid into the coffers of the Blucerchiata club a sum of 4 million euros, minus a 1.250 counterparty fee between the two clubs. The Azzurri goalkeeper thus returns permanently to Salento, after he returned at the end of the season to Sampdoria, which had exercised the counter redemption.

In his last season with the Giallorossi jersey, Falcone collected 38 league appearances, keeping his goal unbroken six times.

From next July 1, it will be possible to deposit the contracts for the players who will make up the teams’ rosters for the 2023/2024 season.
