Slalomgancers, indoor training in Belgium

Technical director Massimo Carca has organized a four-day indoor training session for the men’s World Cup slalom and giant slalom teams. The Azzurri will take advantage of the shed in Peer, Belgium, to train from Monday, July 13, to Thursday, Aug. 3.

Eight have been summoned among the jointed pole specialists: Alex Vinatzer, Tommaso Sala, Simon Maurberger, Stefano Gross, Tobias Kastlunger, Corrado Barbera, Matteo Canins and Giuliano Razzoli, who has been summoned for rehabilitation purposes; among the giant racers, Filippo Della Vite, Luca De Aliprandini, Hannes Zingerle and Giovanni Borsotti will be present. The coaches in charge of the respective groups Simone Deldio and Peter Fill will direct the work, along with Stefano Costazza, Fabio Bianco Dolino, Stella Francescato, Luca Vuerich, Riccardo Coriani, Davide Marchetti, Ivan Imberti, Adam Peraudo, Maurizio Urbani and Luis Kuppelwieser.

Instead, both the men’s European Cup speed group and the girls’ C team will be in Cervinia at the behest of youth technical director Paolo Deflorian. The sprinters will be busy from July 30 to August 4, and will feature Matteo Franzoso, Gregorio Bernardi, Max Perathoner, Marco Abbruzzese, Federico Scussel, Simon Talacci and Maximilian Ranzi. The team will be led by coaches Alexander Prosch, Luca Alasonatti, Matteo Ferrara and Stefano Canavese.

The girls, on the other hand, will be on the track from July 31 to August 4 followed by Massimiliano Tonut and Patrice Revil. Summoned will be Ludovica Druetto, Carlotta De Leonardis and Matilde Lorenzi.
