Torino, not just Doig: a new track on the outsiders pops up
Torino, backlash for Salernitana’s Pasquale Mazzochi
Torino, for some time now, has been working to reinforce the side lanes, accomplice to the goodbyes of Lazaro and Ola Aina and the possible departures of Wilfried Singo and Mergim Vojvoda. The Granata’s main target would be Josh Doig of Hellas Verona, with whom contacts are reportedly already at an advanced stage. However, Ds Vagnati would also be probing other profiles both in Serie A and abroad.
According to reports from “Tuttosport,” one name that would have gained prominence would be that of Pasquale Mazzocchi, author of an excellent season with the Salernitana shirt. The Piedmontese, however, will have to deal with competition from several Italian clubs, Milan, Inter and Monza above all.
Torino, for its part, would be willing to give the final push for the 1995-class only after finalizing the transfer of Singo, whose contract expires in 2024. On the Ivorian outfielder, in fact, there would be the interest of AC Milan, with which the Granata club would be working to set up an exchange proposal to get to Junior Messias.
Salernitana, on the other hand, in front of an offer of 4-5 million euros would open to the transfer of the Azzurri player.
