Genoa, hot lead in Serie A: Frosinone in the window
Genoa-Frosinone clash for Koni De Winter
Genoa, after making official the purchase of Mateo Retegui, is already at work to reinforce the backline ahead of next season. The Rossoblù management, in fact, would be following several profiles of both experience and perspective.
According to reports from “Sky Sport,” the Grifone would have put in their sights Koni De Winter, who after returning to Juventus from his loan at Empoli, could decide again to change air to find more minutes. The Rossoblù, however, will have to deal with competition from another newly promoted side, namely Frosinone.
Juventus, for its part, would be willing to let the young Belgian defender leave either outright or on loan with a buy-back obligation, as he would not fit into Massimiliano Allegri’s plans. Genoa, should it accept the Bianconeri’s conditions, could implement the overtake against the Ciociaro club and reach the white smoke.
Still in the defensive department, another track that the Rossoblù would be pursuing is that leading to Danilo D’Ambrosio, who is looking for a new adventure after his contract with Inter expires.
