F1, sprint race

Max Verstappen,.da cannibal, took victory in the sprint race of the Belgian Grand Prix.

The world champion, on the wet track at Spa, after a start behind safety car and the round of pit stops to mount intermediates instead of wet tires, found himself behind Oscar Piastri. In eleven laps, however, he found a way to make the overtaking move on the young McLaren driver, from whom he had already taken away the satisfaction of the start ahead of everyone.

Behind Gasly managed to get on the podium, thanks in part and above all to what happened between Sergio Perez and Lewis Hamilton. The two were the protagonists of a wheel-to-wheel duel that ended with an injury costing the Red Bull driver his retirement and a controversial five-second penalty for the seven-time world champion, who also slipped behind the two Ferraris of Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc, who still remained off the podium.
